Learn basic to advanced sparring techniques. Anyone can take this class. No kicks involved. Cover basic combinations using footwork, jabs, hooks, uppercuts, slips, weaves and blocks. This class is for those that want to train like a fighter and develop the physical conditioning of one! You will learn all the offensive and defensive fundamentals. Boxing at Fit Impact incorporates it's own unique grading system similar to the of an Eastern martial art.

Muay Thai kickboxing is referred to as the "Science of Eight Limbs" because it makes use of punches, kicks, elbows and knee strikes, thus using eight "points of contact", as opposed to "two points" (fists) in boxing. Muay Thai also incorporates upright grappling and clenches. It is an effective means of self defence, fitness and getting in great shape. It's also the dominant striking style of the MMA world.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a martial art that focuses on ground fighting using leverage rather than force to control and ultimately submit an opponent. This makes it ideal for a smaller person to defeat a larger one as the focus is on technique rather than strength or size.Our classes focus on technical training in a positive and safe environment, which involve learning and drilling specific techniques as well as live grappling.

In this class you will learn the correct technique for effective self defence in a non-intimidating environment. Each session aims at targeting all the muscles of the hips, butt, thighs, abs and arms. This intense fun workout utilizes the heavy bags so you can throw different punch combinations ato enhance balance, cardiovascular conditioning and coordination. Punch your stress away as you tone up your body and get an excellent workout.

Boxing teaches youth how to think under pressure and make smart last minute decisions. It incorporates a diversity of physical, social and mental skills. In this class, teens will learn self-defence and build their confidence in a team environment.

BJJ was designed so that a physically smaller person can defend themselves against a larger, stronger and more aggressive one by using leverage and proper technique. BJJ for kids is great for self-defence and for general fitness. It is especially great for those kids that are getting bullied at school as this class will increase their confidence and self esteem.

This is an invitation only class. It focuses on fight fitness and ring skills. It caters for those students who are preparing for a fight, as an amateur or as a professional fighter, as well as those who would like to compete in an interclub bout. All students in this class must have an intermediate level of defensive/offensive skills. Students must have their own protective training gear to take part in the class- shin guards, groin protector, mouth guard and 16oz leather boxing gloves.

Controlled contact sparring with full protective gear. This class is for intermediate and advanced students, ideally for those looking to compete. This is an invitation only class. Please contact us for more info.

Every session we design different total body workouts using fundamental movements and exercises. This allows us to get out of the monotony of hammering one muscle group and engage the whole body. Every session is different week in and week out. Great for muscle tone, bone density and all round fitness. Includes Agility Training, Circuit training, Conditioning, Endurance, and Interval training.
